Cake Smash and Splash

Baby’s First Birthday Cake Smash is the latest craze in the UK. A great way to celebrate that special first year milestone. This session is held in the studio based at my home in Dumfries and is great fun for baby and parents. Messy play for baby that you don’t have to clean up after. The cake is included and is handmade by a fantastic local cake maker.

Adorable, messy photos of your little one celebrating their first year and milestone. Your baby gets to smash a beautiful, cream cake and even share some with you. You would need to let me know of any allergies before I order the cake. Before we start the Cake Smash Photo Shoot, we will get some individual shots of your little one and some Family Shots. On average, the session lasts about an hour. The initial portrait style photos will be about 20-30 minutes. The cake smash photo shoot takes about 15 minutes. To complete the session, I will have a bath prepaired for baby to have a splash around and playing with bubbles. This is also a great opportunity for baby to get clean again, after their Cake Smash.
